As part of the social service activities of the Parish, a primary school named after St. John was started on April 6, 2003 under the leadership of the then Vicar Rev. Fr. Biju P. Thomas. The school initially operated from a temporary building in the church premises from nursery onwards. The building was expanded to accommodate class rooms till class VIII. The school was later rechristened as ‘St. Johns Model School’, Mayur Vihar Phase-I. From the academic year 2022 – 2023 onwards the classes in St. John's Model School were restricted upto class V only. However, pre-Nursery classes were added from academic year 2022-23.
The St. John's Orthodox Church Society by the initiative and motivation of the chairman Rev. Fr. Philip M. Samuel purchased a plot of land at Greater Noida West in 2009. It intended to establish a full fledged Senior Secondary School under the CBSE pattern with all modern amenities. By the abundant Grace of the God Almighty and by the firm intercession of St. John; consecration of the ground floor of A-Block was held on April 12, 2015 and classes from Nursery to II commenced from April 15, 2015. By the grace of God Almighty we have completed the construction of all the four Blocks of the school building by the year 2021. In 2019 St. John’s school received CBSE affiliation for conducting class up to secondary level. In 2020 the school also affiliated to CBSE for senior Secondary classes (XI & XII). The first batch of class X students appeared in the CBSE exam in 2021.
